چکیده
Background: Sutures are an essential part of any major surgery which serve to hold opposing tissues together and accelerate the healing process, resulting in decreased scarring affected areas. In past, gold, silver, iron, steel wires, dried animal gut, silk, plant fibers (e.g., linen, cotton) have been used as suture materials. Obstetricians commonly use synthetic absorbent sutures for uterine closure during CS. This study aim evaluate effects different absorbable materials on cesarean scar defect formation. Methods: After excluding patients who did not meet inclusion criteria those declined participate, were randomly divided 2 groups: - group І: 35 II: patientsPatients subjected following: Ultrasound evaluation was done ensure viability, determine gestational age, position placenta, presenting part, amniotic fluid estimated fetal weight using convex transducer (Samsung Medison H60, Korea & 50/60 HZ).Results: Regarding demographic data studied patients, Age, age BMI there no significant difference between both groups. time operation type anesthesia There preoperative, post-operative delta Hb concentration pain, hospital stay myometrial thickness, total residual thickness significantly thicker II compared I.Conclusions: Our results showed that monofilament reduced pathological inflammation wound without increasing costs, time, or intraoperative complication rates; improved recovery; potentially CSD. These findings suggest gynecological sequelae due CSD serious obstetric complications may occur subsequent pregnancies can be reduced.

conclusions patient characteristics has important role in suture material degradation. impaired suture hydrolysis in uterus incision may cause abnormal uterine bleeding. it is interesting to demonstrate whethersuture degradation in previous cesarean section has a role in formation of placenta accrete or not .this issue needs more investigation. because there is no similar case in literature, we...
متن کاملSpontaneous complete migration of suture material after subcuticular continuous suture in cesarean section: a case report
BACKGROUND Skin closure during cesarean section is often performed with subcuticular running sutures by using a nonabsorbable suture material. However, this material has the risk of incomplete removal after wound healing and can migrate to other sites in rare cases. CASE PRESENTATION A 34-year-old Korean woman who had undergone a cesarean section 5 months prior presented with a fine, blue obj...

Early diagnosis of this condition with the use of ultrasound imaging allows for preserving the uterus and subsequent fertility. However, a delay in either diagnosis or treatment can lead to uterine rupture, hysterectomy and significant maternal morbidity. With increasi...
